PRESS RELEASE - 17 AUG 09

Reading RSPB has today launched its new website. A complete redesign and refresh of the site has enabled it to be much easier to keep up-to-date as things happen.

It still has the calendar of events to keep its members and the public informed as to where the group is meeting and the activities it is organising or will be present at. But now, it also features a professional photographic gallery which will be used to show photographs taken by the group on i's various walks and activities taken throughout Berkshire and the south of England.

As the site grows over the coming weeks and months, more information will be added, with links to various key areas of the main RSPB website. This will enable you to search for that unusual bird you've seen and give you advice on what to do if you find an injured or sick bird. Plus giving you up-to-date information on the RSPB campaigns.

Currently the webmaster, who is doing this as a hobby, has struggled with some of the fine details on web programming. If you'd like to volunteer your time to assit him, please contact Carl Feltham (carl.feltham@talktalk.net)
